Independent creative studio claims prestigious Animation Company of the Year title for another year, alongside a slew of Silver and Bronze awards for work with Adidas, Bed Bank, Tesco’s and more

Untold Studios has been named Animation Company of the Year at the CICLOPE Awards 2026, claiming the prestigious title once again as the independent creative studio celebrates an outstanding series of wins across animation, VFX, direction and film.

The international recognition further cements Untold Studios' position as the industry's world leading creative studio, celebrating its world-class talent, technical innovation and exceptional craft across a diverse portfolio of award-winning work. Announced at the CICLOPE Awards ceremony in Berlin on Thursday 8 October, the results saw Untold recognised for its work on major international campaigns and original creative projects.

Among the standout highlights was adidas’ Backyard Legends, which continued its remarkable awards run with Silvers for Direction - Long Form and Post-Production. The wins recognise the ambitious filmmaking, innovative visual effects and exceptional craft behind the campaign.

The studio’s animation expertise was also recognised with a Silver for A Critter Carol in Animation - Character Design, while Tesco’s The Fruit Giant secured two Silvers for Animation - CGI and Direction - Mid-Form, alongside a Bronze for Animation – Character Design. Together, these awards highlight Untold’s ability to create distinctive characters and bring imaginative worlds to life.

Meanwhile, Wrong Side of the Bed, directed by Untold’s Charlie Sarsfield for Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank, received Bronze in CICLOPE Ideas - Film, Long Form. The accolade continues an impressive awards run for the powerful campaign, which previously claimed Gold for Charity & Public Service and Original Composition, alongside Silver for Writing, at the 2026 British Arrows, as well as recognition at the D&AD Awards.

The CICLOPE triumph adds to an exceptional year for Untold, which has continued to establish itself as a major force in the international creative industry.

Earlier in 2026, the studio was named Craft Company of the Year at the British Arrows for the third consecutive year, before collecting 11 awards and Visual Effects Company of the Year at the Shark Awards.

That recognition celebrated work including adidas' Backyard Legends, Tesco's Free Fruit & Veg, Disney's Best Christmas Ever, Škoda's Ichy, Waitrose's The Gastronaut, Virgin Media O2's Trunk Trucker and Wrong Side of the Bed.

With a growing portfolio of acclaimed projects and an increasingly formidable reputation across multiple creative disciplines, Untold's latest success highlights the strength of its collaborative model, bringing together world-class creative talent, technical expertise and next-generation technology under one roof.

Untold Studios co-founder Rochelle Palmer said: "Being named Animation Company of the Year at CICLOPE once again is an incredible honour and a brilliant recognition of the talent, ambition and craft of our teams.

“To also take home awards across so many different disciplines makes this particularly special.”
